U-CAN TAIWAN: Combination of Cutting-Edge Technologies and Traditional Industries

来源: 发布时间:2014-10-09 83

Rooted in Taiwan, U-CAN integrates advanced technologies and new materials to provide high-performance testing instruments for polymer industries worldwide.

According to the latest (August 29) Taiwan Financial Statistics Bulletin, Taiwan's machinery exports demonstrate continuous growth from January to July in 2014.  The up to July 2014 cumulative total is US$11.97 billion, where plastic and rubber related processing machines showed brisk performance of US$720 million. Taiwan's rubber and tire industries are well developed and trusted by global buyers. Per the internationally renowned market research unit, RnR Market Research, there are several Taiwanese tire manufacturers listed in the world's top 50 largest tire companies.

U-CAN Taiwan held a technical seminar of “Rubber Process Analysis and Dynamic Properties” in Central Taiwan Science Park.

Rubber and tire industries in Taiwan are the perfect combinations of traditional techniques and modern technologies. Strong R & D investments in manpower and funding are the key for the success, and U-CAN Taiwan provides outstanding contribution. U-CAN Taiwan produces a range of analytical instruments and testing equipment to fulfill different testing needs of rubber and tire industries in the world. In August 2014, U-CAN Taiwan conducted a technical seminar of “Rubber Process Analysis and Dynamic Properties” in Central Taiwan Science Park.  U-CAN shared their years of R & D results with the participants and exchanged views with experts from polymer industries.  The seminar covered RPA — Comprehensive Rubber Process Testing Solutions, Innovating Reflected Light Technology for the Assessment of Reinforcing Fillers Macrodispersion, Dynamic Testing of Elastomeric Products, as well as Effects of Ozone on Polymer Properties and Examine Methods. Mr. Michael Huang, Chairman of U-CAN Taiwan, said that with the positive development of the Asian rubber industries, the transportation related rubber parts have shifted to Asia for manufacturing. U-CAN Taiwan would grasp the global trends to provide high-performance products and services for rubber and tire industries.

General Director of the Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP), Dr. Wayne Wang

General Director of the Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP), Dr. Wayne Wang, accepted “Rubber World for China” interview. Dr. Wang indicated that due to the CSTP is only open to top high-tech companies, most authorized entrants are the leading electronics and precision machinery ,manufacturers in Taiwan, such as TSMC, AUO, Goodway, AWEA, …etc., and CTSP provides rich resources to the companies with strong R & D and innovation capabilities.  Therefore, it is clear that U-CAN’s profession in polymeric and elastomeric analytical instruments and testing equipment is not only favored by the industries but also by the Taiwan Government. U-CAN’s innovative Ozone Testing Chamber, co-developed with ITRI Taiwan, was highly praised by Dr. Wang who pointed that although Taiwan's various manufacturers obtained good results in the international foundry, but the equipment and instruments are depend on outsourcing causing manufacturing techniques generally limited by the foreign suppliers and inconveniences on the production process. Rooted in Taiwan, U-CAN integrates advanced technologies and new materials to provide high-performance testing instruments for polymer industries worldwide. U-CAN’s efforts in promoting technology localization process are worth commendation and encouragement.
