Latest innovations in maintenance-free roofing

DuPont will showcase its Tedlar® film solutions, including COASTALUME™, for the roofing industry at the International Roofing Expo (IRE), the largest roofing and exteriors event in North America. IRE will take place from February 19 to 21 in San Antonio, Texas. Tedlar® will be exhibiting at booth #6113, directly adjacent to COASTALUME™ partner United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) at booth #6121.

Launched just over a year ago, COASTALUME™ is a first-of-its-kind product that combines U. S. Steel’s GALVALUME® with DuPont™ Tedlar® PVF film to create a revolutionary, maintenance-free, and highly sustainable roofing and siding offering for both residential and commercial projects. COASTALUME™ is designed to withstand hurricane-force winds, resist hail and other impacts, and offers unparalleled resistance to damage from salt spray and chemical exposure – showing superior resistance to corrosion on exposed edges versus competitive materials. It resists fading and chalking, mold and mildew growth, and even graffiti over the roof’s lifetime.

At the Tedlar® booth, IRE attendees can hear directly from the installers who worked on these projects about their experience using COASTALUME™.
