Pollustop®是高分子量（2百万道尔顿）的阴离子型支链去乙酰聚多糖，其重复单元包含：由L-海藻糖、D-葡萄糖和葡糖醛酸组成的四糖，以1％的粘性溶液的形式溶解于水中。是使用植物山梨醇（玉米来源）和自溶酵母提取物（酿酒酵母）作为反应基底，采用生物技术发酵过程而得到。
真正的保护盾牌：
这种聚多糖的独到之处，在于它不仅仅形成一层保护膜，而是形成了非封闭性的保护皮肤免受外界侵袭的防护盾牌。
干燥后的POLLUSTOP ®可以显示出其成膜结构，为一层透明，有空隙，易分离且高度的抵抗性薄膜。

Anti-pollution interactive matrix for an anti-environmental aggression action
POLLUSTOP® is an anionic polysaccharide with a high molecular weight (2 million daltons) in the form of a 1% viscous solution in water. Obtained according to a biotechnological fermentation process using plant sorbitol (of corn origin) and autolytic yeast extract (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) as reactional substrates, POLLUSTOP® is a branching, desacetylated polymer, the repetitive unit of which is a tetrasaccharide comprising: L-fucose, D-glucose and glucuronic acid.
An optimized matrix
The originality of this polysaccharide is the fact that it’s an active-excipent combining protection and well-being for a perfect anti-aging protection. Indeed, it presents activities against environmental aggressions, mainly responsible for the aging acceleration, but also substantive sensorial properties due to its capacity to form a non-occlusive shield or 3D matrix on the skin’s surface.
Presenting an affinity for bivalent salts, ethanol and glycols, POLLUSTOP® forms, combined with these ingredients, a more stable and better organized matrix network.
It presents also an homogeneous pigment dispersion.
To show the film-former structure, a highly resistant transparent and easily detachable film is obtained by drying POLLUSTOP®.
This interactive polysaccharide has been particularly created to reply to the health and beauty criteria of people confronted daily to pollution, UV rays and free-radicals, like Asian countries.
Protection against environmental aggressions:
Preventive and/or protective action is essential to combat aging, as in many cases it can minimise the consequences of external stresses on the skin (UV and pollution) and therefore slow down the extrinsic aging process, reducing the need for action by the skin's defence mechanisms, which if used too often will weaken over the years.
Capable of reducing the embedding of carbon / heavy metal particles in the skin, protecting the cells and hair respectively against UV rays and free-radicals, POLLUSTOP® is the perfect anti-aging shield acting by:
·Protecting the skin from the consequences of pollution, such as:
- PROTECTION FROM CARBON PARTICLES: The results obtained show that POLLUSTOP® significantly diminishes of -46% the number of particles encrusted on skin vs. the placebo and was dependent on dosage. In consequence, it limits the risk of biological damage caused by this type of atmospheric pollution. Skin can breathe!
- PROTECTION FROM PM2.5 PARTICLES: Exposure to PM2.5 provokes an intracellular oxidation (multiplied by 2.2). Through a barrier effect, POLLUSTOP® protects the epidermis of +16% from PM2.5 particles and limits the oxidative stress generated by these fine particles inside the cells. Moreover, exposure to PM2.5 induces a clear mitochondrial toxicity too. A decrease of -68% in toxicity was observed with POLLUSTOP® in a dose-dependent manner. Because of its barrier effect against fine particle pollution, POLLUSTOP® protects the mitochondria from damage, thus preserving key cellular metabolism. To conclude, POLLUSTOP® also limit of 26% lipid peroxidation induced by PM 2.5.
-PROTECTION FROM HEAVY METALS: As compared to the placebo in this unique test to date in real conditions of urban life, results show that POLUSTOP® provides a very significant barrier (up to +98%), which is physical and immediate, to the encrustation of heavy metals in skin. For this type of pollution, its shield effect is almost total. In consequence, it very strongly limits the risk of biological damage caused by this pollution.

POLLUSTOP® significantly increases by +68% vs Control the protective effect against cellular membranes alteration induced by UV, significantly inhibits by -53% vs Control the IL1-a release, allowing to modulate inflammation chain reaction.
It reduces also by 37% vs Control the formation of Sun Burn Cells and enhances the SPF by around 1 point. The combination of POLLUSTOP® with ingredients reinforcing its matrix effect allows improving the SPF between 2 & 3 points.
