Dow INNATE™ Precision Packaging Resins Wins 2016 Ringier Technology Innovation Award

Shanghai, China – March 29, 2016 – Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE:DOW), has been awarded the 2016 Ringier Technology Innovation Award in the category of “Plastics Raw Materials and Additives” for its INNATE™ Precision Packaging Resins. This is the first accolade since the product was launched globally in October 2015, solidifying Dow’s leading innovative position in the global flexible packaging industry while celebrating its continuous contribution and commitment to film technology. The 2016 Ringier Technology Innovation Award was unveiled last week.

The 2016 Ringier Awards featured a total of 11 categories with various nominations across Asia Pacific. In the category of “Plastics Raw Materials and Additives”, entries were judged against a stringent set of standards by a panel of experienced judges as well as through online votes casted by the public.

Dow will be participating in the upcoming Chinaplas 2016, Asia's largest plastics and rubber exhibition held in Shanghai, China from April 25 to 28, and the award-winning INNATE™ Precision Packaging Resin will be showcased. The booth is located at Hall N2, N2J41 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).
